For the past 6 weeks or so, I've been in the market for a vehicle in which to do my next big road trip around Australia (and also to drive to work because public transport here is so unbelievably unreliable). Below are some pictures, but first, a big thank you to Harry and Renier for driving me all the way up to Shepparton to pick it up, and to Angela for the refresher course on driving a stickshift.
It's a 1988 Nissan Patrol GQ with a 4.2 Liter naturally aspirated diesel engine (engine code TD42). Cost me $93.00 to fill up with 61 liters (a little over 16 gallons). It's got a 75 liter tank.
